Terms and Conditions

Effective date: 22 September 2026

1. About MZ App

MZ App is owned and operated by MZ & More LTD (RC 8939929), a company registered in Nigeria. In these Terms, “MZ App”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to MZ & More LTD.

MZ App provides digital products and services that may include airtime, mobile data, electricity and television payments, education products, identity-verification services, wallet funding, airtime conversion, registrations and other services displayed in the app or on the website.

2. Who may use MZ App

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into an agreement to open and operate an MZ App account. You must provide accurate, complete and current information and use only information and payment methods that you are authorised to use.

3. Your account and security

You are responsible for keeping your phone, password, PIN and OTP secure. Never share them with anyone, including a person claiming to work for MZ App. We will never ask you to disclose your password, PIN or complete OTP.

Transactions approved with your password, PIN, OTP, biometric confirmation or another authorised security method will normally be treated as instructions from you. Contact us immediately if your device is lost, your account is accessed without permission or you notice an unfamiliar transaction.

We may request identity verification before opening an account, enabling a service, changing an account limit or restoring access.

4. Wallet funding

You may fund your MZ App wallet using the payment methods available in your account. Wallet funding is credited after we receive and verify a valid payment confirmation. A transfer marked successful by your bank may still require confirmation by MZ App or the receiving payment provider.

Your MZ App wallet is a service balance for eligible transactions on the platform. It is not a bank account or savings product and does not earn interest. Transfer or withdrawal options are available only where they are shown in your account and may be subject to limits, charges and verification.

5. Checking and approving a transaction

Before approving a transaction, check the service, network or provider, beneficiary, phone number, meter number, decoder or customer number, product, quantity, amount and charges. You are responsible for the details you confirm.

The final price and any material charge will be shown before payment where practicable. Prices, discounts and product availability may change before you confirm a transaction.

6. Transaction status and delivery

A transaction may appear as successful, processing, failed, reversed or refunded. “Processing” means we are still waiting for a final response from a bank, network or service provider. It does not mean that the transaction has failed. Do not repeat a processing transaction unless MZ App Support confirms that it is safe to do so.

Your MZ App transaction reference is the main identifier for tracing a payment or order. We will provide a transaction record or receipt where applicable.

7. Incorrect beneficiary information

Digital products such as airtime, data, bill payments and PINs may be impossible to recover after they are successfully delivered to the number or account you confirmed. We will make reasonable efforts to investigate a reported mistake, but we cannot guarantee recovery or a refund when the service was correctly delivered according to your instruction.

This section does not remove any consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Failed transactions and refunds

If a transaction fails before value is delivered, the amount will normally be reversed to the appropriate MZ App balance after the failure is confirmed. Some reversals happen automatically, while others require confirmation from a bank, network, utility company or other provider.

Where a refund is due, it will normally be returned to the original wallet or payment method. Processing time depends on the payment channel and service provider. A charge already incurred will be withheld only where it was clearly disclosed and the law permits it.

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under Nigerian consumer-protection law, including rights relating to an undelivered, defective or incorrectly supplied service.

9. Charges, rewards and promotions

Applicable charges will be displayed before you confirm a transaction where practicable. Cashback, coupons, discounts and promotional offers may have separate eligibility, usage, expiry and withdrawal rules, which will be shown with the offer.

We may correct, withhold or reverse a reward obtained through an error, duplicate activity, abuse, fraud or a transaction that is later reversed. We will not remove a valid reward already earned except as permitted by the offer terms or applicable law.

10. Third-party service providers

MZ App works with banks, payment processors, telecommunications networks, utility companies, subscription providers, identity-verification providers and other vendors. Their availability, processing times and technical systems may affect a transaction.

We remain responsible for our own obligations and will provide reasonable assistance with a traceable complaint. We do not exclude responsibility where doing so would be unlawful.

11. Identity-verification services

You may use an identity-verification service only for yourself or where you have valid legal authority and the required consent. You must not use it to impersonate another person, obtain information unlawfully, conduct unauthorised surveillance or create a false document.

Verification results depend on information supplied by authorised sources. You must not alter a result or represent it as an original government-issued document unless it was officially issued as such.

12. Prohibited activities

You must not use MZ App to:

13. Restricting or closing an account

We may temporarily restrict, suspend or close an account where reasonably necessary to protect the user or the Service, investigate suspected fraud, comply with law or a regulator, address a serious breach of these Terms or manage a discontinued service.

Where appropriate and legally permitted, we will notify you and explain how to contact support. After required checks, any undisputed remaining balance will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

14. Service availability

We work to keep MZ App available and reliable, but maintenance, network problems, provider outages, security incidents or events outside our reasonable control may interrupt the Service. We will provide updates where a delay materially affects a transaction.

We may add, change or remove features. We will give reasonable notice where a change materially affects an existing paid service or your legal rights.

15. MZ App content and software

The MZ App name, software, design, text, graphics and other content are owned by or licensed to MZ & More LTD and protected by law. We give you a limited, personal and non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose. This does not transfer ownership of MZ App or its content to you.

16. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal information. It forms part of these Terms. We process personal information in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and applicable requirements of the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

17. Our responsibility

We are responsible for losses that arise from our fraud, wilful misconduct or breach of duties that the law does not allow us to exclude. Nothing in these Terms removes any mandatory right or remedy available to you under Nigerian law.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for an indirect or unforeseeable loss, or for a loss caused by information you entered incorrectly, your disclosure of security details, an unlawful action by you or an event outside our reasonable control.

18. Complaints

If you have a complaint, contact MZ App Support and provide your registered details, transaction reference, date, amount and a clear explanation of the issue. We will acknowledge and investigate the complaint within a reasonable time and keep you informed when we are waiting for another provider.

If we do not resolve the matter, you may use any remedy available through the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, another competent regulator or a court with jurisdiction.

19. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when our services, legal obligations or business practices change. The latest version will be posted on MZ App with its effective date. We will provide additional notice when a change materially affects you and request fresh acceptance where required by law.

20. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. A dispute may be heard by a court with jurisdiction in Nigeria, subject to any mandatory consumer right or lawful dispute-resolution process.

21. General terms

If a court finds one part of these Terms unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive that right. You may not transfer your account to another person. We may transfer our rights and responsibilities as part of a lawful restructuring or business transfer, provided your legal rights are not reduced.
